Becoming a big regional player is an immense responsibility. With multiple offices and more than 125 employees across the Asia Pacific, we are committed to strengthening our local footprint by supporting local communities.
Aware of the socio-economic and environmental issues that plague our world, Zenprint Australia and the Gogoprint Group more generally decided to embrace our Social Responsibility, and launch a series of sponsorships aimed at supporting non-for-profit organizations and charitable events throughout APAC.
Support for NGOs and Charitable Events
We encourage the idea that companies should balance profit-making activities with activities that benefit society as it wouldn’t be possible to sustain growth without addressing today’s sustainability challenges. That is why Gogoprint Group and Zenprint Australia made a firm decision to take action and leaving a positive impact on the community and people living in it.
As part of our ongoing Social Responsibility campaign, we are becoming sponsors of numerous NGOs and charitable events, the latest being the “2nd Australia and New Zealand Refugee Trauma and Recovery in Resettlement Conference” organized by the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma on behalf of FASSTT.
The Refugee Trauma and Recovery in Resettlement Conference
The Conference will become a ground for discussion for agencies working with people from refugee backgrounds. The event’s goal is to highlight and come up with the new innovative methods and policies organizations could use to facilitate refugees’ rehabilitation and integration into society. We would like to add that FASSTT has done tremendous work in uniting activists across Australia and prepared every little detail for the event to happen.
However, to carry on such activities, agencies like FASSTT need all the support they can get from local players. That is why Zenprint Australia made a decision to become a Scholarship Sponsor and assist the Conference by providing necessary funds. The sponsorship will allow community leaders from refugee backgrounds and community sector workers and others who may not have otherwise been able to participate to attend the Conference and gain invaluable experience and knowledge, which will help enhance their work in supporting refugees.
As a fast-growing company, Zenprint Australia has a duty to act in the best interest of society we operate in. We hope that the Conference will assist thousands of activists from all over Australia in developing new innovative ideas and strategies. The refugee crisis is something we cannot longer put on hold, it is time to empower survivors and give them a chance to rebuild their lives.
If you live in Queensland check out the Conference website to learn more about the cause they are supporting. It is okay if you cannot attend or make a donation - educating yourself on the matter is the first step in the right direction.
